The vineyard sits at an elevation of 800-950 feet on Jory and Nekia soils, derived from lava flows from the Cascade volcanoes. Its southern exposure and cool night temperatures produce wines with vibrant acidity, red fruit character (red cherry, raspberry, and strawberry) and, dare we say it, a structure and balance that reminds us a bit of some of our favorite Burgundies.

This densely planted site produces rich, concentrated wines that mix red and black fruit flavors with an impressive depth of flavor that was evident from the first harvest in 2003.

Lemelson Vineyards Pinot Noir Resonance

Deeply colored, with a dark blackberry, liquid silkiness, the Resonance vineyard demonstrates both up-front fruit and also significant aging potential due to its well- integrated structure. The wine is made from 23-year old vines from this well-managed, biodynamically-farmed vineyard. The older vines and low yields gives the wine an added dimension of complexity, aromatic layers, and mouthfeel.

Lemelson Vineyards Pinot Noir Stermer

The Stermer Vineyard Pinot noir combines enticing aromas with a mTlange of pure fruit flavors that include red and black raspberry, black cherry, and blackberry. We find this one of the most balanced and seductive wines Lemelson has made from the vineyard. On the nose, the Stermer hints at black cherry, roses, vanilla, and anise notes. These aromas are mirrored by layered flavors of black and red fruit, framed with very ripe, sweet tannins. This medium-bodied wine has a ultra-soft and velvety finish.

Lemelson Vineyards Pinor Noir Thea's

TheaÆs is indeed a selection, a reserve-level blend that combines individual barrels from any or all of Lemelson's six vineyards. Barrels that show the most forward, perfumed fruit, with good complexity and length are selected. A rich, satisfying Pinot, with lush fruit, soft tannins, and enough backbone (structure and acidity) to pair easily with fine cuisine.

Matthews Cellars Claret

The lots chosen for the Matthews Claret resulted in a wine containing 52% Merlot, 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 3% Cabernet Franc and 1% Malbec. Blended in January of 2003, the wine was then placed in French Oak barrels previously used for aging the 2000 Yakima Valley Red Wine. Following the fourteen months in barrel, this wine was bottled unfiltered and lightly fined in order to soften any harsh tannin.

Beringer Merlot Howell Mountain Reserve

Nice, bright color and supple texture. There's a cobbler-like mix of sweet plum, cinnamon, clove, berries and orange rind aromas and flavors--all sort of elegantly entangled as opposed to explosive. It seems to play on all parts of the palate, with long, lingering impressions that are delicious.

Chateau Ste. Michelle Merlot Cold Creek

The Merlot showcases inviting aromas of pomegranate, raspberry and Rainier cherry fruit notes with a slight hint of caraway. Flavors of black cherry and plum with lively, substantial tannins make this a big palate-pleasing wine. Pair with lamb, pasta, beef, fowl.

Matthews Cellars Red Table Wine

Matt Losso's continually impressive Bordeaux blend is a young, dense, saturated, complex and extremely tight wine that is sappy and packed with myriad berries and red/blue fruits. It is wrapped in stiff, hard, thick, dark tannins that add tight layers of moist earth, black tea, roots and bitter chocolate. Matthews Cellars Sauvignon Blanc

Winemaker Matt Loso dropped Semillon from the blend a few years ago, then tried fermenting in all stainless. The 2004 Klipsun is yeasty, bone dry and richly textured. The young, beery yeast flavors are augmented with light, fresh herbs and hints of citrus zest and honey. Lingering, lovely textures. 90 Points from Wine Enthusiast!

Chateau Ste. Michelle Merlot Columbia Valley

This Merlot is soft, rich and easy to enjoy, whileoffering plenty of complexity. Attractive aromas of dusty cherry, ginger, cinnamon and cedar lead to layers of concentrated cherry fruit flavors. This wine has the structure and fruit-driven power that is characteristic of Washington Merlot. Pair with beef, lamb, grilled salmon, hearty pastas.

Morellino Di Scansano

85% Sangiovese, 15% Alicante and Black Malvasia. Dark, bright rich ruby color. Freshly crushed cherries and berries aromas perfume the atmosphere as soon as you open the bottle and especially when you pour it. The Malvasia Nera and Alicante add a rich and warm earthiness to both the aromas and flavors that dramatically enrich the overall complexity. Bright wild cherry flavors broaden into ripe plums followed by a welcome touch of oak and earthy flavors. Very balanced, but not light or thin in any respect. The robust flavors of fruit have a good backbone of tannin.

Provisor Syrah Dry Creek Valley

This wine offers a pure, rich display of ripe blackberry, boysenberry and plummy notes, that are offset by a dusty wild berry, violet and sage scent and supported by tight, firm, grainy tannins. Best from 2006 through 2012. 440 cases made. 90 Points Wine Spectator!

Driving and powerful. The nose offers balsamic notes along with piercing hints of road tar crude oil crushed lavender and leather. The palate is packed full of tobacco citrus and bright berry fruit. Maysara Pinot Gris Willamette Valley

This wine exhibits light, golden straw color and complex aromas of honey, ripe melon, pear, lime and mineral. Round, rich flavors of pear and melon balance a long finish with excellent texture and ripe citrus flavors. Slightly less sweet than the previous vintage, this Pinot Gris exemplifies a great balance of richness and acidity pairing perfectly with a variety of edibles. The soft, round residual sugars of this wine further complements dishes with a hint of heat or can be enjoyed as an aperitif.

Maysara Pinot Noir Delara

"Delara" is a Persian word that translates as, "captures oneÆs heart." This wine does just that. Made exclusively from the vines of their lower 13-acre block, Delara's rich, inky color is the backdrop for aromas of coffee, cocoa, pomegranates and blackberries. Enormous layers of bittersweet chocolate, coffee, earth and black fruit are balanced by lush, round, fine-grained tannins. This wine is rich, powerful and complex and as such, can also be paired with heavier foods not commonly associated with Pinot Noir.

Maysara Pinot Noir Estate Cuvee Willamette

The bright garnet color of this Pommard-clone Pinot Noir sets the stage for this complex, balanced and lingering jewel. Notes of red cherry, toasted oak, mellow spice and fresh earth blend gracefully with an explosive mid-palate, followed by a very balanced acidity and nice round tannins. The long finish of this delicious pinot is captivating and to be enjoyed over the next 10 years.

Maysara Pinot Noir Reserve Willamette Valley

Aromas of currant, black cherry and a slight smoky bouquet are complimented by the rich, intense color of this superb Dijon clone Pinot Noir. A bursting rush of currant, blackberries and black cherry are balanced with lush, lingering tannins and finishing flavors of bitter chocolate and pomegranates.

Mil Piedras Sangiovese

The Sangiovese is fruity and less tannic than California versions. It is full boded supple lightly oaked and crisp; a ripe style of Sangiovese with spicy oak and plum-like flavors.

Mil Piedras Tempranillo

The Tempranillo is supple fruity full bodied wine with some richness light oakiness and medium length. It tastes of plum blackberry tea toast and pepper.
