Neyers Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Estate Price: 48.99Their first ever estate bottled Cabernet Sauvignon from Neyers with only 200 cases from the entire parcel. But itĘs still packed with flavor and loaded with complex berry fruit, a soft, sensual style with sweet tannin, plenty of tar, black currant, and licorice. It should drink well for 7-8 years
|

This is a pretty, showy Hillside syrah. similar to the ę97 with its forward fruit, but this oneĘs more restrained. It also has some of the cola-spiceö aromatics that was evident in the 98. It's very drinkable now, but it has a lot of staying power. In ranking this vintage against the other Hillside syrahs going back to the first in ę94, this one would be at or near the top.
