Creamy dried cherries, cardamom, and hints of forest floor accent this Sonoma Coast wine. Round and plush, the flavors mirror the aromatics and dusty cherry, tobacco nuances linger on the finish.

Roessler Pinot Noir Pisoni

Price: 63.99

Burgundian Crazed Gary Pisoni was convinced his mountainous site in the Santa Lucia Highlands was the ideal location to plant Pinot Noir. Warm days ripen the fruit, while cool nights and morning fog lengthen the growing season to allow for full flavor development, and the Old World style is clearly evident in this saturated, complex wine. Only 157 cases produced!

Roessler Pinot Noir Savoy Vineyard

Price: 43.99

The meticulously farmed vines from Richard Savoy, lay in one of the coolest regions of Anderson Valley just west of the town of Philo. The southwest facing slopes are cooled by the afternoon breezes and coastal effect. Seven different clones are harvested and kept separate until the final blend is crafted. This dark, lush complex wine displays black fruits, smoked meat and soy all leading to the lengthy palate pleasing finish. Roessler's multi talented winemaker-chef Wells Guthrie, suggests this as the perfect accompaniment to Peking Duck.

Roessler Pinot Noir Sangiacomo Vineyard

Located in the cool Carneros Region, the wine is made from Dijon clones 114 and 115. This is the fourth year this wine had been produced and each year the hard work and efforts of the Sangiacomo family provide more exciting fruit from their Green Acres Block. Renard Roussanne Santa Barbara

Price: 21.99

Almond blossom, ripe nectarine, apricot, and honeycomb are apparent upon first sniff, balanced by a citrus-like freshness and mineral elements. A bright entry then builds power with ripe, honeyed stone fruit, melon, and mint. The wine manages to share elements of powerful fruit and an inherent structure of what I call white wine tannins. Framed with a flinty aspect and a miniscule marriage of sweet oak, this Roussanne carries great weight, finesse, and an alluringly long finish.

Roessler Riesling Wiley Vineyard

Price: 19.99

Brad Wiley's 25 year old vines reside on a ridgetop overlooking the western most part of Anderson Valley. This wine?s classic flavor profile displays nicely balanced acids that highlight its natural fruitiness. Ramsay Syrah Napa Valley

Price: 10.99

Unique nose is a range of smells that run from toasty to bacony and meaty. This wine has those in abundance, along with a succulent bramble-berry nose and very well balanced and integrated oak. Mouth: Much of the berry character of the nose comes over into the mouth along with some tarry and woody characteristics. Underlying this is a very nice structural backbone of both grape and oak tannins.

Robert Sinskey Pinot Noir Carneros

Price: 30.99

Bad Ass and Biodynamic

Renard Syrah "Schatz" Lodi

Price: 16.99

Dark red soil and a frequent maritime fog produce lovely raspberry, cherry flavors that are juicy and gratifying. The aromatics have a mild smoke and tobacco aspect with a meaty side. My recent tasting notes reveal aromas of blackberry pie, black cherry, spice, tar and smoked meat. The flavors follow through with black cherry, with juicy dark fruits, and an underlying spice and grip. The texture has soft tannins and is well balanced with the acidity.

Renard Syrah "Santa Rita Hills" Santa Barbara

Price: 25.99

The beauty of Syrah is its versatility; dark berry fruits from a warm site and spicy, exotic fruit from a cool site. The 2001 vintage revealed the mild white pepper, yet ripe berry, dark olive and earth notes on the nose. The palate follows through with lush, saturated, full bodied cassis like fruit balanced with the plush full tannins and carried by a lingering spice and alluring dark fruit. Syrah can be a textural challenge, but this fruit delivered great depth and dense texture of the mature tannins. To sum it up, nature provided the proverbial one two punch of concentration and maturity for this vintage and site. 187 cases produced.

Renard Syrah "UNTI" Dry Creek

Price: 28.99

Aromas of blackberry, earth, smoke, and hoisin sauce with a back round floral note. I find the palate has a lush entry and builds juicy blackberry, plum and Asian spice with a frame work of ripe tannins and well integrated oak. This wine has a surprisingly long finish with some Rh(ne spiciness and enduring sweet fruit. The texture feels seamless from start to finish.

Renard Viognier Napa Valley

Price: 24.99

The aromatics are pure Viognier û peach, jasmine with some mandarin orange and lemon citrus. The mouth follows through with the same full, ripe stone fruit, yet balanced with the vibrant citrus component. The palate weight is ample, but not oily so the wine should be an excellent match with Asian fusion and with savory seafood preparations, but actually works with cheeses as well.
