Benziger Merlot Sonoma County Reserve

Price: 35.99

It is very luscious in texture, intensely flavored (black cherry, toasted oak, cassis, and tobacco), and very long and persistent on the finish. Enjoy this with dishes that highlight its intense fruitiness and texture, such as prime rib of beef, lamb sausages, or beef tortillas.

Beringer Port Cabernet Napa Valley

Price: 18.99

Rich, fruity and complex; its flavors fill the mouth without being cloying. The wineĘs aromas and flavors of blackberries at the peak of ripeness are in the forefront, suggestions of light herbs, peppery spice and a toasty caramel note from the oak barrels that makes one yearn for a roaring fire, a bowl of toasted walnuts and a circle of friends to share a toast to the great tradition of Port

Belle Pente Chardonnay Willamette Valley

Price: 17.99

This wine bears virtually no resemblance to the typical new world butterball style of Chardonnay that many of us find insipid. It is fresh and focused, lively and long on the palate, and finishes crisp and clean. The decidedly old world winemaking techniques employed here make this much more reminiscent of white Burgundy than California Chard. A rare and unique wine, it can give considerable pleasure today but should also reward several years of cellaring.

Brassfield Pinot Grigio

Price: 11.99

Tropical aromas of mangoes, pineapple, passion fruit, guava, banana, and a touch of vanilla and coconut burst from the glass. This wine has a soft entry with a light mineral component and is followed by crisp acidity and a soft refreshing finish. Delicious with fresh seafood, or seared scallops over a bed of pasta.

Roessler Pinot Noir Blue Jay

Price: 34.99

The area west of Philo in Anderson Valley has always supported a large population of native Blue Jays. The old locals came to refer to the area in Boontling terms as "BlueJay". This blend exhibits rich, ripe intensity leaning towards a vibrant dark fruit palate. The complex layers of fruit and spice displayed in this wine are indicative of the vineyards in this special region.

Byron Pinot Noir Bien Nacido

Price: 36.99

Bien Nacido is hallowed ground for Pinot Noir. This is typicalūaromatic cherry and violets with an earthy component that gains intensity on the perceptibly sweet palate. Amazingly concentrated fruit, cinnamon spice, silky texture and an earthy-spicy finish of fine length.

Beringer Pinot Noir Napa Valley

Price: 17.99

It is rich and fruity, with a nice undertone of rich earth and all sorts of complex tastes. ItĘs still young, but itĘs already quite seductive.

BearBoat Pinot Noir Russian River Valley

Price: 15.99

Gorgeous bouquet of candied red berries, toast and allspice, then just as good on the palate with heaps of strawberry supported by refreshing acidity.

Byron Pinot Noir Santa Maria Valley

Price: 21.99

An ancient varietal with its roots in eastern France, Pinot Noir is a red grape that is highly expressive of its terroir. The long growing season of the Santa Maria Valley allows Pinot Noir grapes to develop slowly and to their fullest, most deliciously intense flavors. Byron Pinot Noir has undertones of cherry and plum with depth and velvetiness from maturing in oak.

Beringer Pinot Noir Stanly Ranch Carneros

Price: 28.99

Achieves ripe flavors and supple tannins while retaining acidity and balance. There's a core of bright cherry fruit, subtle toast, and notes of earth and spice that add a distinct character to this Pinot.

Belle Pente Pinot Noir Wahle Vineyard

Price: 29.99

Pinot Noir from this vineyard tends to be herbal and floral (especially lavender), with deep black fruit flavors and aromas (especially ripe blueberry), and a silky texture. This version is an appropriate swan song for this terrific vineyard. Deep, dark, and concentrated, it is also fresh and lively with impeccable balance, fine tannins, and sufficient structure for at least medium term cellaring. Enjoy some now and put some away to watch it's evolution over the next 10 years (or longer).

Belle Pente Pinot Gris

Price: 17.99

Restrained aromatics of orchard fruits (apple & pear) give way to intense sweet stone fruit on the palate balanced by bright acidity. The sedimentary soils of Ribbon Ridge and the Yamhill-Carlton District provide an underlying minerality ū a rare characteristic in new world wines! Enjoy now and over the next few years.

Belle Pente Pinot Noir Belle Pente Vineyard

Price: 29.99

This wine made quite a splash in it's debut vintage: complimentary reviews from a wide range of critics, a top 5 (out of 50) finish in a recent Wall Street Journal tasting of Oregon Pinots. Deep dark fruit flavors and aromas are backed up with firm ripe tannins and good acid balance. Very attractive today, it will only get better with some time in the cellar.

Belle Pente Pinot Noir Estate Reserve

Price: 34.99

This version is characterized by deep, dark, ripe blackberry and cassis flavors and aromas, enhanced by dried herbs and white pepper. It is a structured, concentrated, and very complex wine, with multiple layers that unfold with each taste. This wine was once again selected for the International Pinot Celebration last summer, where it has been a perennial favorite. We anticipate that this wine will be at it's peak from 2008 to 2012, and will live much longer.

Belle Pente Pinot Noir Murto Vineyard

Price: 29.99

Since Murto is a cooler site with mature vines (planted in 1978), it tends to really over-perform in warm vintages. In 2002, the grapes attained a high level of maturity which translates into a smooth, silky texture in the wine. The signature Murto spiciness is a bolstered by the ripe fruit character and we expect complexity to emerge as the wine evolves.

Brassfield Syrah

Price: 19.99

Ripe, plum and black cherry aromas with nuances of bacon, bay laurel, and fennel on the nose. A silky body and a velvety mouth feel lead to a soft tannic structure with added hints of toasted vanilla oak. Enjoy this wine with a ratatouille brochette, osso buco, or cassoulet.

The wine is brimming with fruit aromas and flavors biased to the black fruit end of the cabernet spectrum: plums, blackberry, black currant. Rich and full-bodied on the palate, this cabernet drinks well on release but will soften and develop with additional age.
